Kensington Swan

I worked at Kensington Swan as the in-house graphic designer.  During my time here I created anything from tender pitches (including working closely with our China Business Group), event seminar invitations and collateral, advertising for print (including National Business Review), banners and tiles for our website and intranet, e-newsletters, email invitations as well as internal communications on behalf of our HR department. I also liaised with external designers, printers and web development companies to ensure we met client deadlines.

I also had experience in using our CMS (Content Management System) Kentico, Search Engine Optimisation and basic HTML edits as well as project management experience for:

1) Website development which included writing briefs for our contractors to execute upgrades or bug fixes to our website and user-testing once the development was completed.

2) In 2014, The Crank fundraiser for Canteen which included liaising with companies to obtain vector artwork, making sure logos are print ready for off-set, managing the production process to ensure the shirts are ready for our riders to wear at the event, marketing for all fundraising events e.g. posters, graphics for the web.

3) Kensington Swan e-newsletter content and working together with an online administrator at CLANZ to send content to CLANZ members through their email newsletter system.

4) In 2012, The New Normal, a survey of Chief Executives across New Zealand's Private, Public and Not-For-Profit sectors, including liaising with the graphic designer and printers.
