Recipe: Three ingredient biscuits

Updated: Sep 18, 2021

Run out of flour because we are all in lockdown? Need something quick and easy to make? Got some over ripe bananas you need to use up? Got dietary requirements? Well these biscuits are dairy free, egg free, nut free and wheat free. (Sorry for all those who can't have gluten.)

I had used this recipe when my son was a toddler, but have resurrected it since it uses minimal ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas bananas

  • Approx 1/2 cup of rolled oats

  • Approx 1 tsp of cinnamon powder

  1. Turn on oven to 180 degrees celsius on fanbake.

  2. Lay baking paper or baking sheet on a tray

  3. Mash bananas

  4. Mix oats into banana mash till you get a consistency where you can roll mixture into balls

  5. Sprinkle cinnamon through and mix through.

  6. Use back of fork to press the ball down flat to an even height across all biscuits

  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes or till golden and cooked through.

For variations you can also try adding things like nutmeg powder, ginger powder, maybe slivered almonds or even choc chips! See what you can come up with. Enjoy!
