Wedding dance with a difference
Screw tradition... we wanted a wedding dance that would be fun, frivolous and be upbeat in tempo. You can click to watch the wedding dance for yourself at the bottom, but back to the blog.
After being announced Mr and Mrs Liew-Young at the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle, we began to walk down the aisle to Hall and Oates "You Make my Dreams", when all of a sudden Julian jumps around to start dancing on his own. And if you know Julian - you know how random he is. Once people realised that this was our first dance, they started clapping along. It was a wee swing number that Karen Ng my oldest friend had taught us a few months earlier, and it proved to be a hit.
Awesome to see blogs go up from The Lauren and Delwyn Project and Hera Bridal so if you've been bugging me to share photos from the wedding you can click on the above links to view!.... Just waiting on our wedding cinematic from Burlap and Blossom!! :)
I'm loving married life, it's the best decision I've ever made. We've starting off an exciting adventure and at least when you get over being shitty at the little things, you know it's worth it, because being with the other person makes you want to be better overall.
